short breaks
Some
of our favourite times to visit Cornwall have
been out of the main summer season - beaches
are uncrowded, the climate can be mild with
plenty of days bright and crisp, the best tourist
attractions, pubs and restaurants are quieter
and exploring the cornish lanes and villages
is a pleasure. Some events are , by their very
nature, held in the "low season" -
for example the Oyster Festival in Falmouth
in October or the Christmas lights in Mousehole.
If you dont have a full week available then
a relaxing 3 or 4 night short break is just
what you need to calm your soul and return home
fully invigorated.
Our
short breaks can start on a Friday [for 3 nights]
or a Monday [for 4 nights] - but we can be flexible
about this providing we have the availability.
And, however many nights you decide on - you
can be sure that the welcome you receive will
be warm and both of the apartments have plenty
to do/watch/read/listen to/play. Snuggly duvets,
mohair throws, piles of cushions and good books
all beckon after a long wintry walk along the
coastal path or a visit to see the early bulbs
in a cornish garden.
Our
short breaks are available all year except for
21/12/07 to 4/1/08 and 20/6/08 to 5/9/08 with
3 night breaks charged at 70% of the full week
rate and 4 night breaks charged at 80%. We also
offer a late availability discount of 15% if
you book a holiday within 4 weeks of the start
date. Please do contact us on 0116 2590164 if
you would like to check availability or a start
day.
